Biggar Bank Multimedia Trail

CANDOFM has been commissioned to work in partnership with local historians and technical installation artists, to create four brand new interactive audio and media trails in the local area. #

The trails will explore our local rich culture and extensive past in a new and exciting way, discovering our unique history and local talent!

Anyone at the locations  will be able to uncover hidden and/or historic stories, listen to locally produced music or even interact with augmented reality.

At the Biggar Bank Multimedia Trail you can expect to find content that has been created in collaboration with Sue Benson Barrow Library archivist, Leeroy Rooney local musician, Sally Ann Staunton and John Rennie local writers, The children of Walney School and South Walney Infant and Nursery School, The Better Biggar Bank group, Walney wildlife trust.

There is even drone footage of Walney Island courtesy of Furness Videography.

We’re performing maintenance work on the popular interactive posts over Biggar Bank, just in time for summer! 🌞

These interactive posts have been a hit among the community, providing fun and engaging experiences for all ages. To ensure they are in top shape, we’re working hard to make necessary repairs and upgrades.

Our dedicated team is committed to enhancing your experience and ensuring that these interactive posts continue to bring joy and excitement to everyone who visits Biggar Bank.
